Before and After: Spray Foam Makes a Difference

This building started out extremely hot, reaching approximately 110 degrees inside before insulation was installed.


LW Construction applied spray foam insulation to the walls and roofline, creating a more complete thermal barrier throughout the building. After the spray foam installation, the inside temperature dropped to approximately 91 degrees.

That is a difference of 19 degrees.

Before spray foam, the exposed walls and roof allowed outside heat to quickly enter the building. During hot Southwest Kansas weather, an uninsulated garage, shop, or outbuilding can become uncomfortable and difficult to use.

After the walls and roofline were insulated with spray foam, the building held a noticeably lower temperature. The finished application helps reduce heat transfer, limit air leaks, and create a more comfortable space.
